Four questions that settle it
- Does it still get updates? Look in Settings under Software update. A phone with updates is safe for banking and payment apps. That is a phone worth fixing.
- What does the repair cost next to a new phone? Get our free quote. Then look up the same phone used. Repair under about half of that? Fix it. Close to it or more? Replace it.
- Are you still paying it off? Replacing early often means two bills at once. A repair keeps one bill.
- Is the rest of the phone healthy? One broken part on a good phone is an easy yes. Three failing parts on an old phone is a sign to move on.
A cracked screen or a worn battery is the easiest call. One part, one visit.
When replacing makes more sense
- No more updates. Banking apps drop old systems. That is a real reason to move on.
- Several problems at once. Screen plus battery plus port adds up fast on an old phone.
- Water or a hard fall reached the board. These repairs are the least predictable. We tell you when a phone is not worth the work. The check is still free.
Back up your data first if you still can. We cannot promise data recovery.
The third number: what it is worth as is
We buy phones at the counter, even cracked ones. So you can get the repair quote and the offer in one visit. Then pick.
Replacing it? Sell us the old one, or ask what used phones are on the shelf.
Phone will not start at all? Read phone won't turn on first. If we cannot fix it, you pay nothing: no fix, no charge.
