We stand behind our work. Every repair at our East Oakland shop has a 60-day warranty. It covers a bad replacement part and our work on that repair.

This limited warranty is from Exotic District, not from Apple, Samsung or the part maker.

What your warranty covers

Coverage starts on the original repair date and lasts 60 days. It applies to the specific part or service we repaired, not the entire device.

Covered

  • Defective replacement parts used in the original repair.
  • Workmanship related to that repair.
  • A covered part fails under normal use? We repair or replace it at no extra cost.

Not covered

  • Physical damage: cracks, drops, dents, impact, bending or pressure.
  • Water, liquid or moisture damage, including corrosion or signs of liquid exposure.
  • A device opened, altered or repaired by anyone else.
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect or accidents.
  • Problems unrelated to the original repair.
  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic scratches, dents or frame wear.

A few things to know

  • Water resistance may not come back after a repair. We cannot promise it.
  • We must check the device first. Then we can approve a warranty claim.
  • Additional repairs may need a new quote. You decide before we start.

No fix. No charge.

If a repair attempt does not fix the problem, you do not pay for that attempt.

For example: we try a new battery, but the phone still has the same problem. The fault turns out to be on the main board. You do not pay for that battery attempt.

We explain what we found. If a different repair is possible, we give you a new quote. Nothing starts until you say yes.

This promise applies to the repair attempt. The 60-day warranty covers a bad part or our work after the repair is done.

Need us to check a repair?

  1. Bring your device back.

    Bring your receipt or repair details if you have them. Tell us what changed and when it started.

  2. We inspect the issue.

    We check the device and the original repair before a warranty claim is approved.

  3. We explain the next step.

    Covered defect? We repair or replace the part at no extra charge. Other work may need a new quote.

Warranty questions

When does the 60-day warranty start?

Exotic District's 60-day repair warranty starts on the date of the original repair. It covers the replaced part and our work on that repair for 60 days.

Does the warranty cover a new crack or water damage?

No. Physical damage and liquid or moisture damage are excluded under our posted policy. Bring it in for a free quote on any new repair.

The same issue came back. What should I do?

Bring the device back for inspection. A bad replacement part, or our work, within 60 days? We repair or replace it at no extra cost.

Is my phone still water resistant after a repair?

We can't promise water resistance after any repair. Keep the device away from water.
